Need info on KEF speakers...good, and bad...

I have been looking at the IQ70's for some time now, I dont know anyone who has ever owned any KEF products.

Just looking for some info here...

They're most definitely a quality product. Whether you like the sound or not may be a different issue. They tend to be fairly "neutral".

I own the IQ 3 bookshelf units so maybe not a fair comparison since the floor units have multiple drivers......mine are not too great....good looking design, but integrated tweeter produces confused sound when you drive them. I got mine 1/2 price,but would not buy them again at that price..unfortunately cosmetics count for too much in the audio world.
