I have a sony receivers.. ( its just a Home theater reciever ).. and i Just got 2 Cerwin vega speakers 15"s Floor speakers. And they r 4 Ohm speakers while my reciever is 8 ohms... It sounds ok.. but It should be louder and it should have more bass.. Does this mean i have to get a AMP.. and if so what size should i get? and How should i have the speakers hooked up.. ? Under what ? like under center or front? I have heard the speakers from the person who i bought them through and they were alot louder and more bass... he was pushing more power though.. So any help would be helpful.. thanks alot.
