Just ordered my Yamaha RXV 1600 receiver. I also have the Sony 50" wega sxrd. I am confused about the HDMI connections. Both receiver and TV have them. I need help deciding which DVD player to get for around 250.00 and what is the best way to wire the DVD. Do I wire the player directly to the TV with HDMI or do I wire the DVD to the receiver and then HDMI from the receiver to the TV? Do I use the digital out of the DVD player to the receiver for sound? I also have a Cable box with HDMI out. Would the cable HDMI also go the the receiver? I want to use my receiver and speakers 5.1 for all sound and use the TV as a monitor only. This is new to me and any help would greatly be appreciated. Sorry for all the questions. Thanks
