Need help with sub.

Hi,
iv just got a mtx 10 inch sub from bestbuy.
it's a 100 watt's sub
it is a powerd subwoofer and it's in a left hand corner room .
anyway the bass sounds weak in the center of the room,but when i sit in the left corner of room the bass sounds much stronger. but i want the bass sound strong in the center of the room also. what may be causeing this? I did move my sub to right side corner of the room and still no bass in the center of the room. Now when i move the sub to the right hand corner the bass sounds much stronger on both sides of listening position but it still sound's weak in the center of the room. how can i feel up the center of the room with strong bass>?

.....DDigitalGuy, plain and simple....when you can go it with the funds, put one in EACH corner of the front of the TV end of your theater....if I had only one sub, it would be in the center, whether it didn't put out quite as well or not....with one sub in the theater, I don't care what anybody says, you're going to get localization, and one in a corner of the front gets you lop-sided results....you need another one just like the one you have in the other corner of the front....all the afore in my opinion, sure, but it's a strong one......
