It won't make a difference. But at 30 feet, I'd rather have 14ga or lower, just to avoid any resistive issues. You can find quality 14ga wire pretty much anywhere, and at good prices. Just avoid the Monster cable (and the MONSTEROUS prices) and you'll be golden.
