Hi all , my name is Dylan and I am 17 years old I live right by future shop in Ottawa and I need help with my first sound system setup! As i am unsure of what to get for bass/rap and good sound quality. Unless you know anyone in ottawa or a buisness in ottawa that installs subwoofers etc..I can only buy from future shop since its the closest store.
I organized a little setup of my own if there is ANYTHING that needs improvement please say something I need all the help i can get because i want my first experience of my own sound system to be great! but within a budget of 2000$ or less if possible lol!
This is what Im looking at : Custom made ported box ( not sure if i should get this and 2 12" subs or just get a bundle enclosure ) Pioneer or Alpine deck ( I got my first paycheck today so im thinking of putting that in ASAP or should i wait until i get the whole sound system?) Dual 10" or 12" Kickers ( should i get the enclosure DC model or a ported box and 2 subs , I lishent to rap mostly ! ) For speakers im not sure at all but I heard that Alpine Type S are good so i saw these , Alpine Type S 6" x 9" Car Speaker (SPS-619) Alpine Type S 4" Car Speaker (SPS-410) and the amplifier im not sure if i should get this one Kicker Class D Monoblock Amplifier (CX1200.1) or a 4 channel amp with 300 watts, please comment on this as i dont want to make a mistake buying the wrong amp And thats it for now but please i need all the help i can get ! The car ill be putting the sound system in is a 2003 Century Buick! I lishent to mostly rap. And out of my sound system im looking for overall good sound quality and very good bass.
