need help with good receiver

I'm looking to upgrade my receiver. I currently have a pioneer vsx824k that was purchased last year and the speaker setup is:

Televison UN55HU8550
Bluray BDJ7500
Klipsch
Front R28F
Center R25C
Back: R15M
Sub Polk PSW10 (this will soon be the Klipsch R-10SW or R-12SW depending on Black Friday deals)

I'm looking for a receiver that also has composite cables to plug in my ps2 and wii, so when I want to feel nostalgic I do not have to worry about connection issues.

Well its not "400" watts technically. Your speakers have a high sensitivity (98dB @ 2.83V / 1m) and require very little power to play to ear bleeding levels. As long as it has the features you need, keep it. Save the money and get a better sub, better than the aforementioned

No need to upgrade the AVR for power reasons.

For relatively low budget you can't beat SVS, HSU, Rythmik subs. It is better to save the gift card for something else instead of being forced into lesser subs. A good sub in your current set up will make a huge difference in movie enjoyment.

One last question is there a big difference from sb2000 and pb2000? I will be using for 90% movies 10% music

get the PB, the sb would be better for a slightly smaller room than yours. You will enjoy it..
