I am moving in a week and need help with my setup. My living room has many windows and the only place to put my 40" LCD is in a corner. I need help deciding on the best way to put it there. Should I use a Full Motion wall mount with a stereo stand for the components or should I use a corner stand for the Flat panel and components? Does anyone have pictures of a flat panel in the corner of a room? It is hard to for me to visualize what would look best. Opinions please.

If you want a clean install the full motion would look the best, Assuming you run the wires in the wall for it. Full motion mounts are not very cheap and will require mounting into the studs since there is much higher stresses on the connection points vs a flat mount which keeps the weight close to the wall instead out out on an arm. With a flat mount if you only have one stud in the area you want to mount too you can still get a very solid install using special toggle bolts behind the drywall.

There is no problem watching it from the corner of a room I have had it that way for the past year and a half and now finally mounting it on top of the fireplace but remind me in a week and I will be post pics of the old layout (TV on a stand with a mount in the corner of the room) vs the new look on the wall above the fireplace. Job should be done by next week Wednesday.

I see nothing wrong with putting a stand/rack in the corner. The contemporary type with the mounting brackets elevated above the component racks would look nice in a corner IMHO.
