Need help with figuring crossover

How do i figure crossover? I have a sony sscs8 that i want to calibrate and need the crossover. How would i go about doing that. Is 100 ok im used to polks and the t series and tsi series are 100.

80 is a generally accepted starting point (and is the THX spec). Nothing wrong with 100 either. Usually you just want to avoid localization of the sub. Measurements would be best and there are a few ways to go with basing it on the f3 of your speakers if you want. Some set it just above f3, some half an octave, some an octave or more.
