So first off i have already decided and purchased the speakers for my surround system.
I have Pioneer 2sets of SP-BS41-LR 2CH bookshelf speakers, a Pioneer SP-C21 center speaker, and a Pioneer SW-8 sub.
The main speakers and center speaker are rated at 130W max(not sure of rms).

Ive mostly been looking at Denon receivers(but im open to anything) and have even thought of going all out on a AVR-3312ci but im not sure if its the best choice to drop 6-700 on it yet.
Right now im only going to be using the receiver for my tv, bluray player, and xbox. All with hdmi connections.
Any help or opinions will be great to hear

Those Pioneer speakers e great but the more power they can get, the better off you are.

Onkyos are good but I've had very luck with Denon products throughout the years, and they don't run as hot as Onkyos. I'm still runnng a 2802 from 2003 and a more recent 1040CI (almost*) universal player for audio from a few years ago.

*It doesn't do Blu-Ray

Yeah I've seen reviews of them compairing the speakers to ones 2x expensive. I managed to grab them all for 300, way under retail.

And other people have said I shouldn't go to the top of the line denon since I wount be using all of its features.
So I looked at the lower denon 2112, which can be had for 380 for a refurb model

From my experience, I would never buy a refurbished AVR or pre-pro. These are very complex components. I have horror stories of a few refurbished AVRs.

I would rather buy a used AVR that has never been refurbished.

A used Denon 3310/ 3311/ 3312/ 990/ 991 is around $450.
