I currently have a Marantz SR6011 Atmos receiver. I am using the SR6011 amps for my ceiling Atmos height channels and a Outlaw 7125 amp for all other channels. My current set up now is a 5.2.4. As you can see from the attached my room is very long ( 17 ft. W x 28 ft. L). I have a set of older DCM speakers with 12" woofer. 6.5" mid and horn loaded tweeter that I re-conditioned with new crossovers. These are around 100 SPL with good low end bass. With my old receiver I had these in the back of the room connected to the speaker B side. These really helped fill the room fill when listing to music. I was wondering with the 17.5 ft.distance between these speakers and the listening position would these speakers work as the back surrounds in a 7.2.4 set up?
Any input would be very helpful.
