Need Help Using Preouts

I was trying this setup, but didn't seem to work at all, maybe it wasn't meant to work. Let me know if I'm doing something wrong.

Using Kenwood Fineline 7100 Receiver as my main receiver. It has preouts for SW, SBL, and SBR. Connected preouts to a BePro B1 Mixing Amplifier. I have 2 speakers and a powered sub connected to the BePro, but it doesn't seem to receive a signal...even a hum would be nice so I know it was working properly.

Let me know if this should work and if it should, what I am probably doing wrong.

Thanks.

Bypass the BePro - see if you get sound that way first.

Double check that your receiver has a subwoofer listed on the setup menu so that the output is hot at all.

I am not certain, but I believe you need a 6.1 or 7.1 source to send a signal to your surround back l/r. They are your 6th and 7th channel. You may have a sound field that will mimic 7.1.
