First, I appreciate the words of advice in advance.
My Onkyo 7.1 R590 receiver is down to one working HDMI port out of 4 ports. I hear this is not uncommon with these Onkyo receivers and I have watched one port after another go down. So now, I am back in the market and don't want to spend too much on a receiver, just one that is reliable and compatible with my current Onkyo speakers and sub woofer.
My question is, what receiver(s) would any of you recommend that I could basically swap in right away, do I have a lot of options? Yamaha seems to make solid stuff I guess. Def staying away from Onkyo. Would love to have at least 4 hdmi ports and 7.1 setup, even refurbished I might be interested in. Anyone know of any sites with some good deals on what I'm looking for?
Have a baby on the way soon, so have to be budget friendl, but not crap haha. Thanks so much guys and really look forward to your comments!
