Hi!i bought 2 cerwin vega vs 120 , and i bought a 5.1 amplifier (140watts/channel).. and it didnt gives me any bass... the bass wasnt deep..they work, i tried them before buying it.. so i was wondering do i have to buy a amplifier? I was thinking of the cerwin vega cv 900 !

Another question is and please i need a clear answer on this , i connect my 2 sv-120 to the amp , and i connect the amp to what?? (im noob i know)..

Can i just connecter this amp to my computer and play youtube trough it or connect my computer or connect my phone to it ? If someone could explain this to me id be so happy!

Seriously buying a 5.1 receiver for my sv-120 is useless.. bass doesnt work at all

Hi. Before you go off and buy an amp, I have a question. When you set up the 5.1 receiver, did you make sure that the front speakers were set to "Large" and that it was operating in two-channel mode?

Btw, which receiver did you get?

Check your connections. A common symptom of phase cancellations is lack of bass. Make sure each channel is wired pos-pos and neg-neg. between receiver output and speaker.

I plugged the 2 towers in the "front" thing and i dont have any othrr speakers and subwoofer so i think an amp would br better than a 5.1 receiver... its only for music on my computer its not for a home theater , only for some bass

The reason that I asked is because, if the receiver was set up so that bass wasn't sent to the front speakers, then that would explain why you find the bass so lacking. :) It's entirely possible that the receiver has plenty of power for those speakers.
