Hello,

I've uploaded the floor plan of my weird room.. I really need your advice here.. That 7inch house pillar is an obstacle and doesn't let me place my surrounds properly. Should I ignore it and live with the asymmetry?

Not sure why you would run into any issues just get them as close to the same distance as possible everything else avr will delay timing for you.

First of all, Thanks for the reply.
So, I should be fine placing right surround on the pillar. The Audyssey of my Denon X2700H should fix that asymmetry, right?

It can’t “fix” the asymmetry , or the fact that one speaker is farther ahead than the other, but for the most part you won’t probably notice. It will correct for distance and db settings though. It looks like most viewing will be done on a Murphy bed so with pillows and such you’ll probably be even with the rear surround, or slightly ahead of it. I think you’ll be fine.
