Have an Energy 240W Sub running on Yamaha RX-V665 with micro satellite speakers.
Settings are at 160hz crossover
Output SUB only (since speakers are rated 150hz+)
SWFR volume bit over mean.
Was watching Transporter 3 last night and was trying to get the DHUB DHUB bass instead of the DUB DUB bass!!! If you know what I mean.
SWFR volume at 1/2 and cross over at 150hz.
My sub is next to the TV, open on the carpet in front of the couch. I know I am losing some volume(due to space issues) but do I need to change any setting on the receiver at all?
Overall sound was crisp, with Dolby Digital (Action Game CinemaDSP) viewing.
Just trying to get the deep bass(also in music) not the knocking bass but the thumping bass. And yes the SUB is brilliant quality by Energy, with no distortion.
