I have an old pair of EPI speakers . One of the woofers blew I don't know how to get the cabinet open . They are solid wood very heavy the back has a tweeter
control and the wire hookups . I think they are 150's can't remember I bought them new in the early to mid 70's You talk about getting your monies worth!!! The speakers sounded great until I got a little overzealous with SRV. Any help on the rebuild would really be appreciated...Stratosjoe :)

I don't know those speakers but I doubt that you can open the cabinets as most are sealed together. You should however be able to take just the woofer out of the cabinet, their should just be some screws holding it in.

Let us know how it goes, how big a woofer you'll be replacing. Parts Express has lots to choose from but you should really mate them to the size encloser you have. [internal cabinet size]
