I have an old pair of Infinity RSII's. They have dual 10" woofers. The foam on the woofers is falling apart. Rather than refoam them I want to buy new higher power woofers. I want to drive these loudspeakers with a pair of Adcom GFA-565 mono block amps. The Infinity RSII's has a handling capacity of 250 watts while the Adcoms put out 500 watts at 4 ohms each channel. I want to keep cost down, thats why I dont want to buy new speakers, and I sort of like the RSII's enclosure. While your at it feel free to suggest new 5" midrange drivers and EMIT tweeters. The midrange drivers and EMIT tweeters are in fine shape but I will eventually damage them with 500 watts and will eventually need to be upgraded. All should be rated at 4 ohms.

Thanks.
PS. While I want nice sound I would prefer loud. This setup is in a airplane hanger. Acoustics are crappy and I just want some loud music to crank up while I'm working on planes.

I would look www.madisound.com or Parts Express Both should offer drivers that may suit your needs. Make sure to have your enclosure dimensions available.

You're going to need the tuning of the cabinet as well. Ideally, you'd need to know the specs of that driver. It's most likely not just a matter of slapping any 10" driver in there, because it may or may not work with the existing crossover. Dropping a more demanding driver in there without knowing the specs of the x-over and cabinet will be very hit-or-miss as to whether it works well or not. It can be done though.

IMO, refoaming the existing drivers is probably a better idea, and is certainly cheaper.
