Hi all, this is a car's sub but still under subwoofer category. I have the Mark Levinson subwoofer on my Lexus GS 300 is torn apart. I haven’t look into this yet, but when I put my hand up and felt it, there seemed to be a crack/tear in between the Paper cone and the Rubber foam. Can I fix this or buy new sub? Thank you so much.

You will need to remove the woofer in order to see the actual damage. Diagnosis of the problem is paramount in determining a solution.

Lexus GS300 Subwoofer Repair

If your sub is torn it can be repaired but plan on about a 30 - 60 min disassembly of your rear seat. You gotta take out the rear seat, c-pillar covers and rear deck lid. It's not hard but you gotta be careful not to break anything. Once you get all that out you can remove your sub (4 bolts) and repair. I just did mine yesterday. I read a lot of stuff about using a glue gun but I used Liquid Tape as it is flexible after drying. To me this meant it would allow full travel of the foam and not limit the range of the sub. Took about 10 min's to put it around the full perimeter of the sub then i used a heat gun to dry. After it's dry, reinstall and you're ready to go. I had never done this and it took me about 1.25 hours. Key is that you gotta take out c-pillar covers. You will not get the rear deck lid out if you don't. Also don't try to take sub grill off of deck lid, it's on there good. You'll just break clips if you try to force it. Good luck.
