Hi Guys,
I have Polk RM95 5 pack speakers and a Polk PSW10 subwoofer. Am planning to put the center speaker in front of the TV, on the TV stand itself.
I HAVE to put my 52 inch LCD in a corner, on a stand and not on the wall. DOn't ask why. Ok because the clean flat wall (15 feet wide) is in front of a large entry way to the room (20feet X 15 feet) and if I put the TV on the wall, I petty much have to put my sofa across tand block the room entryway and that doesn't look good.
So I got a corner TV Stand and have put the TV on that stand. The room is further complicated by having a large open opening doorway to the dining room on one of the longer walls and a large window on the opposite longer wall (20 feet long)
Can I put the Frt Left and Right satellites on the wall up above at 7 feet so that one of them can be fixed above the window and the other at a similar height on the opposite wall.I gues putting the surrounds at 7 feet height is not a problem.
The corner TV creates a layout/positioning chalenge for the speakers.
I have made a diagram, but am not allowed to attach it.
This is my first HT system and I would love any help from you gurus.
Thanks
Raj
