Need Help Finding an iPod Dock With Remote

Hey, I tried searching but nothing came up. I just recently set up my home theater system and love it, however I'm having some problems with my iPod dock. Here's what I have: 2 Martin-Logan Purity speakers with a Peachtree Nova integrated-amp and ML Dynamo 500 sub. My current iPod dock is an Arcam irDock. The problem I have with it, is that the remote doesn't work that well. My big thing is I want to be anywhere in the room and be able to change the song without having to hit the same button several times. I cycle through music a lot so it's pretty important to me to have a good remote, especially if I'm paying the price of the Arcam. I emailed Arcam but haven't heard anything back yet. What do you guys recommend? I just want a simple, good sounding dock with a strong remote.

I just went into Amazon.com, selected "Electronics" and typed in "Ipod dock with remote control" as a search criteria and got 24 hits.

Dunno about strength of the remote signal but an IR remote might be somewhat of a line-of-site situation, but other than that, I dunno what to say.

I understand there's a lot of docks with remotes out there, I just wanted to see if anyone has had good experience with them. Since it is IR, I'm wondering if I'd be getting interference from the sun or other sources.

I've installed a few apple branded docks and the ir has very good range and on a wide angle. I would get a dock with a video out in case you ever need OSD.

I use a DLO dock and it works really good with my Harmony remote, even when more than 20' away and thru smoke glass.
