forget those speakers, PSW10 sub is not worth considering, other unknown speakers are not worth the risk.

go to Newegg.com and signup for their "e-Blast" email sales notices and watch for fabulous sales on Polk Monitor Series II speakers. Consider Monitor60 or Monitor70 towers and a CS2 center....when on sale. On recent sales you could get brand new Monitor60 towers and a CS2 center for about $300 delivered. When the budget refills, get a powered subwoofer.

In the Polk lineup, don't consider a sub below the PSW505

Look like R30 towers and a CSi20 center. Definitely not worth $275 - you'd do much better getting some Monitor 50 towers and a CS2 center for the same price.

If you shop around, you can find those NEW for less than $150, so no, not worth it. Even for half that price, these aren't good speakers.

You think its all worth 150?
I paid a total of $200 new for my R30s and CSi25, and upgraded them to the Monitor series earlier this year.

No, it's not worth it unless you absolutely can't spend a dollar more than $150.

Hmm I recently ordered and bought the Polk PSW10 subs and I dont think theyre bad at all. I love it. However, I should note that this is a small room setup, it may not be good for gigantic living room or house. but regardless for my room, it's still loud and shakes the walls at full settings. It was the best sub I could find for $80.

But based on that picture, it looks different than my psw10. The grill/covering is not circular in mine, it's square and covers the entire subwoofer.
