That's a fairly low powered amp section (33wpc) in that receiver so you want to look for speakers with higher sensitivity....forget the wattage ratings of the speaker. A sensitivity rating in the high 80s to low 90s is fairly typical range for a loudspeaker, to make the amp go further try looking more in the 90s. Klipsch speakers are generally of higher sensitivity. What's your budget and where are you? You probably want to stick to speakers rated 6 to 8 ohms as well.

Oh okay so how would you know if the speakers are compatible with the amp using the sensitive rating? im looking around the $200 to $300 dollar mark also i'm located in Australia.

You match amp to speaker by impedance as well as power. The max speaker wattage rating will give you an idea of the most power the speaker can take before blowing more than anything else.

If you buy speakers that are 4 ohm rated they would likely work with your amp but would be limited to lower volume use without putting the amp in stress (go into protection mode or even damage it), so better to have an amp that is rated for 4 ohms in such a case. Same for having sufficient power for your spl needs.

Sensitivity is an efficiency rating, the higher the number the less wattage it takes to a given spl level (the sensitivity rating should be "x"dB at 2.83V at 1 meter distance; 2.83V at 8 ohms is 1 watt).

They wouldn't be my choice particularly. I haven't heard them and don't look to those brands for speakers either. The Yamahas would get a little louder due to the higher sensitivity. Have you heard either? Is there much selection on the used market where you are? That would be my first look on a limited budget like yours. I'd also follow zieglj01's lead, I've read good remarks on both the Sony Core series as being an especially good bargain and Q Acoustics likely has something too (assuming they're marketed in Australia).
