Need help choosing between speaker setup

I'm setting up a new Home Theater -5.1 (with video projection) in a small room 11X17, the reciever is a Harman Kardon 510. What I need is speaker help.
I'm trying to stay in a budget since my other main system is with our large screen TV in another room. After reading reviews I've narrowed it down to one of these configurations:
1. (2) BIC DV-64's or DV084's for the front
(1) BIC DV-62CLRS center
(2) BIC DV-62B's for the rears
(1) BIC V-1220 Sub (I also noticed the BIC V-1520 is out)

OR

2. THe BIC Acoustech Cinema Series Package.

The floors are carpeted and I may add some sound proofing panels such as sonex to the right and left wall. Screen and font speakers will be on the 11" wall. Between these two set-ups and considering that these will be used mostly for watching movies...which would give me the best theater sound performance.

Additionally I've read of performance increase with the DV-62's with Ed Frias Mod...does he also offer anything for the DV-64's/84's or are they good as is.
I have two phone Ed, one in California, one in Prescott, AZ..does anyone have current contact info. Thanks

The big difference between the two systems is that the Acoustechs have a horn tweeter vs a dome tweeter on the Venturis. I went with the Venturis, by I have two major differences: my room is hardwood floors (we are going to get an oriental carpet for the center of the room), and I will use the system as much or more for music than movies. I was afraid the Acoustech horns would be too bright for my music tastes, especially with the brightness of the room. But in your case, I think the Acoustechs may be perfect for home theater with carpeting. And in my opinion, the Acoustechs are much more aestheticly pleasing as well.

Good luck with your decision
