Need help! Aperion setup

Hello fellow holics, I am logging in after a very long hiatus, wife & I had our 1st baby and all the sound I heard for the past 2 yrs is.... you guessed it!

Was igniting my solo peace time with my Aperion setup and for some reason my ears think I need to redo the audio setup on my Yamaha RX-A730 receiver...have a Aperion 5T, 5C+LFM-1EX - 3.1 setup, yet to hookup the 4Ts.
Reasons being:
My sound is bass lacking from the front and center, I bumped up the dbs, played with the crossovers but no luck. I checked wiring etc. Checked my Verizon fios box to see if there were any updates to it causing sound to be flat and mid range sounding like a hammer on a paint can. I disconnected my sub and it sounds pretty bad. Stereo without center sounds awful as well.

What could be the causes? Do I need to run YPAO again? Will that help?

Have you redone any wiring lately? Unplugged any speakers? Sounds like a reversed polarity problem, maybe.

Jon - good point, every time I ran YPAO it has my center channel showing Reversed, I have chosen to ignore it due to my room acoustics. I did unplug the bananas and put them back thinking it was a loose connection. At this time, I don't know what to believe the AVR or leave it like that.

Check both ends of the cable, and make sure +/red on the receiver is connected to +/red on the speaker. Check all the speakers.

Will do and let know. Also, my YPAO sets the sub @-3, and center and fronts at 1.5+. I have a 15ft viewing distance open to room about 3000ccc.

Silly me. All this time I've been thinking YPAO/Audyssey are designed and run specifically to address room acoustics.
