hi guys,I have Harmon Kardon 2.1 sound system. Links is here : http://www.harmanaudio.com/home-theater-speakers/HKTS+2+MKII.html?dwvar_HKTS 2 MKII_color=Black-Z#start=1.

I am really confused and just want to know a good/decent amp that can run my 2.1 system. I dont want to buy an expensive amp as I am tight on budget.

I searched on Amazon.com for some amps and came across this.

1. https://www.amazon.com/LEPY-Lp-168HA-2-1-40-Amplifier/dp/B00LF5GK94/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1478623033&sr=8-13&keywords=2.1++amplifier

Please help.

Thank in advance

You need a receiver or integrated amp, not an amp. An amp does not have a preamp section, which controls the volume and accepts the various inputs you need to feed to the speakers. A receiver has both preamp and amp.

You'll probably find the best solution in an avr with bass management, many 2ch receivers nor integrated amps offer such at the prices an avr can be had for altho some of the 2ch units will provide a sub pre-out but with a full range signal for your speakers and sub. The amp you linked is to power two passive speakers and a passive subwoofer; you have passive speakers but an active subwoofer and don't need an amp's output for the sub, but rather just a pre-amp's output (via a pre-out on the receiver).

If you're on tight budget, your best bet is to buy used surround receiver. In USA, $50 to $100 should be sufficient for it.

There are quite a few possibilities...where are you and what would your budget be?
