Need cable suggestions

I got a new Marantz VC6001 universal player and purchased Blue Jeans Cables for hooking this up (5-channel analog, digital coax, and component video). The problem is the RCAs with the jackets are too long and the cables are bit too stiff, so the back won't fit on my Salamader rack and it puts alot of stress on the RCA jacks on the equipment. I can move the Blue jeans cables to my main system were space in the back of the rack is not a problem but what cables are close to equivalent that have shorter RCAs and are alot more flexible???

Did you just get them from bluejeans? They have very good customer service and may have suggestions for you or may exchange them. I know they use a few different cables and some may be more flexible than others.

As far as other ones to look into, I have some of the impact acoustic cables and they are much more flexible than most of my other cables.

I simply removed the back off my rack, since my receiver already is deeper than an average one so there was no way to get all my wiring to fit. They also sell an extended back cover for Salamanders that gives you an additional 3.5":

I would call Bluejeans first and see if they have an alternative for you.

I don't mind keeping the cables for the other system since I need some better cabling there. I know I can get more flexible options from BJ but my main problem is the length of the carnare rca with the colored jacket (strain relief). I don't really mind leaving the back off the rack but even then the cables still mash against the wall and force them to bend (strain the equipment) when the rack is in it's necessary position. I have a really tall baseboard with a cap that keeps the rack more then 1" from the wall but makes it impossible to use the extended back without cutting off the bottom 6" of the back. My bedroom is oddly small in one dimension, at 10'6"x15" (of course they couldn't design the room where the bed would fit the other way), and if I pull the rack away from wall anymore I won't have room to open the doors on the rack (or much of a walkway around the foot of my bed).

So I guess I'm asking if there is any cable, that is decent, that is both flexible and with short RCAs?

Check into monoprice cables and maybe call them for plug dimensions if the picture doesn't tell you enough.
Sounds like your cabinet is not very deep.

Another out would be 90 degree RCA adaptors. Radio Shack may have them. Then, you can just use the bluejeans cables:D

Not sure if it is any good, but the RCAs look to be short and the wire is very flexibile :)

90 degree connectors probably won't work due to the number of cables and how most players have them nested, unless you get the ones that have an extended "offset" so that one sticks out more than the other.

Just to toss in my 2 cents; I've used Monoprice many times and never been disappointed. Never had to settle for something I didn't want either.
