Need advise on Onkyo SR602 issue

Guys,

I have an Onkyo SR-602 7.1 receiver which I run in 5.1 mode with Polk speakers. During the past few days, I noticed that the sound wasn't really upto the mark. Then when I did a test-tone I realized that my surrounds and woofers was not making any sounds at all. So, all I was hearing was from the Center, FL and FRight.

I have tried everything possible to make them all play. I am sure I hit some wrong button on the remote which messed up my settings. Any advise on how to fix this issue?

What have you tried?

I would first go into the setup menu to sp. config and make sure that the surrounds are set to Yes. Also make sure that you haven't engaged the 'B' speakers.

I've made sure that all the wires were still in place and connected properly.
I checked the speaker config on the receiver- all speakers are "active"
I tried various pre-sets. Nope! no luck yet :(

I am not sure what the B-speakers are...?

I have the 602.There are no "B" speakers. Here is a shot in the dark - do you have Zone 2 active ? Also check the channel levels and make sure none are turned all the way down.
