Need Advise: Harman Kardon AVR 160

Hi All,

I'm newbie on home theater and just bought Harman Kardon AVR 160.
I tried to connect my HK with Dune B1 using HDMI (pass through), but it seem the pass through doesn't work. It only sound came up but the picture didn't came (blank screen).
I already tried all setting in my Dune and HK and also upgrade to the latest firmware of Dune and HK but none of them works.
I already send email to HK but nothing in reply.
Now, I'm using optical cable for the sound but it only can afford for DTS instead of DTS HD or True HD.
I really appreciate if anyone can share your experience how to solve this problem.

Does the Dune HDMI output correctly to your TV w/out use of the H/K receiver?

If no:
Possibly you have a defective Dune player or the settings are not correct, contact Dune support for a method to reset the player to default configuration and other troubleshooting assistance.

If yes:
Try another HDMI connection (one of the other 3 inputs) on the H/K receiver.

Try a different HDMI cable to connect the receiver to the TV and also the Dune to the H/K.

Does the H/K on-screen section/set-up work? If it does it is likely the cable from your Dune to the H/K or the output signal type/setting of the Dune.

It sounds like the default config. for the H/K has been changed also. Note that default setting for HDMI audio out is: off, see system set-up section. not necessarily part of this issue though.

The H/K unit does not do any video processing so it passes through the video signal.
