Need advice on unfinished setup

Long story short I decided on following setup:

KEF speakers: (wth, i'm gonna treat myself ), little disappointed with build quality, but the sound-stage is just HUGE.
2xQ900 = 1358
1xQ600 = 450
2xQ100 = 375
Total = 2183

Marantz 6005 got a display model from local BB for $340 + tax

Rythmik fv12???

couple of questions before I finalise all:

1. Will rythmik work fine with marantz? Rythmik says something about "This subwoofer is designed to use with the bass management in an AV receiver". Marantz says somthing about using Audisey for seting up a sub. Is audisey and bass management the same thing? I'm totally confused here. would HSU FVT2 work better with marantz?

2. Does the price look OK on the speakers, (those r new from OneCall) or should I shop around more?

3. Did any1 hear KEFs on Marantz? I demoed Q900s on NAD and not sure if Marantz a good fit. I still got time to return Marantz.

4. Would I benefit much if I buy an extra Emotiva UPA-2 and byAmp Q900s? as oppose to byAmping them with reassigned rear channels from Marantz?
And if I byAmp Q900 in general do I need an external crossover or is the one inside the speaker still used?
I'm not going to play it loud most of the time, so will byAmping be beneficial on moderate loudness?

5. What cables should I get? Since the Q900 is byAmpable I will need those doubled...

6. Does CD or DVD player make any difference? I meant HDMI is digital anyways all the way into receiver. 1 and 0 coming form a $50 player is same (as long as I don't have lags) 1 and 0 coming from a $1000 payer, or am I missing something here?

"Bass management" in a receiver just means that the receiver has the ability to set high pass filters for speakers and redirect bass frequencies to a sub. Virtually all modern multichannel receivers have bass management as a basic function. Generally if you have a "subwoofer" output on the receiver it has bass management.

The Marantz already has plenty of power. There will be little to no advantage to getting a UPA-2. Better off putting that money towards a better sub.

It's "biamp" not "byAmp." "Bi" means "two" or "double." And you don't need to biamp the speakers. Get this cable:

DVD player does make a difference. CD does not. Get a quality DVD/BD player.

Audisey is automatic room audio configuration - to configure speakers delays and levels and help with bad room modes.
Bass management is in simple terms a system designed to help integrate sub with main speakers.

HSU VTF-2 MK3 is also good sub too and also will work with marantz.

No problems with KEF on marantz, in matter of fact It could sound even better.

No, unless you have huge parties or huge rooms.

There is no point in Bi-Amping or Bi-Wiring. at all. nuff said.

No point getting CD or DVD player. Just get a decent BD player. several sony models start at about $100 with support for SACD over HDMI if you care for such feature.

Well biamping is useful in some cases. But not in this one.
