Hi everyone, looks like a great site here...
I'm moving my Yamaha system upstairs except for the rears (just for the living room, no 5.1 needed up there, just music.
My media room in the basement is almost complete, it's 15x25 feet, insulated ceiling and carpeted floor, so I hope to get good sound in there.
I'm lookin at the following system:
Yamaha RXV650 7.1 receiver.
Paradigm Monitor 7s for the fronts.
Paradigm PS1200 sub.
Paradigm CC170 center.
Paradigm Titans for the rears.
My older Yamaha speakers for the sides.
I have digital satelite and a progressive scan DVD player which will also be the CD player. I'm running digital in from my PC upstairs using a RF remote to control it via the TV.
Are there any things you see that might conflict or that might not work well?
Is there a better receiver out there for the same $$$ you would recommend?
