Need advice on Marantz and Vienna Acoustics

I am sure I am in way over my head. I just bought a Panasonic plasma tv VT20 which is 3D. I own Vienna Acoustic speakers (Mozart) that were purchased in 2003. I also own a Marantz SR7500 Receiver purchased in about 2006-2007. Currently my speakers cut out from time to time. I have never figured out why. The reason I have the Marantz is because I thought it might be the receiver so I got a new one. This did not fix the problem. My Sony Plasma tv from 2004 just gave out which is why I bought a new TV. Will I need a new reciever? Also, should my speakers be working without issue and does anyone have any ideas why they do not work?

please describe how did you interconnect receiver & tv
Do you also have BluRay/DVD/Cable/Sat ?? List these too
