I am in a similar situation. I need to run approx 40-50 ft of hdmi to my Panasonic PT-AE2000U projector. I need it to be able to send 1080p/24fps and support deep color etc. from my Panasonic BD30 Bluray player via my Pioneer Elite Receiver. Is there a cable good enough to do that long of a run? Do I need to run 2 25ft cables with a splitter or extender? Please advise. Thanks

So what you guys are saying is....A single 50ft Blue Jeans cable will provide 1080p/24fps and deep color. If so, which of their cables should I use?

It's a no brainer. BJ has the very best deal on high quality HDMI cables. More than though, they are great to work with. Fine people over there. There's a reason so many on this forum recommend them.

Has anyone used the devices which allow HDMI to be run over CAT5? Not sure of the signal quality, as I've never done this, but the CAT5 cable is much cheaper than a 50ft HDMI cable.
