Need Advice on a Device

Hey guys, I have a tonearm that terminates into a male 5 pin DIN, I am limited to using female 5 pin DIN cable to preamp like these:

I am considering something like this so I can use stereo analog cable of my choosing. Would there be a lot of signal loss with this and should I just stay with what I have?

C'mon guys, I need some feedback here on the above device. Dr. Mark, I'm waiting, maybe you could draw up a diagram of this device and I can DIY it, or better yet you design and build it and I will purchase from you, if you think this is a good concept of course. I can get something like this to start with and go from there to building this thing, I just need some advice.

I know these parts and entire device you be built a lot cheaper than the above completed unit and purchased in the USA and not Israel.
