Need Advice for Selling

Hi all!
New to your forum but not HT. Anyway, was wondering a good way to sell ( other than this forum), a new sub I bought 3 weeks ago. Not having much luck on CL.

I tried to send it back, was told they couldn't. Maybe cause its 82lb. shipping? It's also a discontinued item?

Who is it? I remember reading on a forum a while back that Amazon was handling the return shipping of a sub back to them as haz mat and instead of dealing with shipping accordingly, they simply refunded a couple people....assume they've figured that out since. You may be on the hook for return shipping, or may not be able to return depending on terms of sale....don't know. Just a thought...

Where did it come from? Can't you return it, maybe with a restocking fee?

Cl is really turning into a garage sale site (it always has been, but quickly going downhill) everyone wants a bargain, a huge bargain. I've had decent luck on FB marketplace getting realistic money for items I sell.

Thanks for all the feedback. I should have mentioned that I did in fact get my money refunded by the good people at Amazon customer service, right after I ordered another model. They suggested I dispose of it any way I want to. Made her repeat that 3 times... I'm not setting it by the side of the road with a "free" sign on it. So, selling it at reduced price. Someone will get a great deal.

I second selling on eBay and other audio forums. Not sure this forum has a trade section, you should have a look.
