Need a small task lamp for my TT

In my rack, the TT is below the top shelf. I need to find some type of small lamp to mount which will illuminate the TT so I can operate it when the room is darkened.

Anyone have suggestions?

I use one of these little Ikea LED lamps as a reading lamp and it seems like it should do the job.

Yeah, I looked at the IKEA website

They have the same one but with a big clamp that could clamp onto the shelf my TT is on. Next time I am at IKEA I'll take a look.

I do want to make sure that I pick a lamp that will not generate any RFI that could potentially be picked up by the preamp and receiver, though.

You could also drill a hole through the shelf and use that to hold the neck instead of the lamp base.

Puck lights are the answer to your problem.

All good turntable installations need to be well illuminated.
