Need a remote for a Kenwood VR-405 Receiver
So far I have tried 3 different programmable remotes for the Kenwood VR-405 with no luck.
The latest one had the receivers broken down in to [RECEIVER CODES] and [HOME THEATER in a BOX CODES]. I only bought the receiver used and I don't know if it was a package deal, HTB.
(I'm pretty sure it was though.) Anyway, the latest remote I tried had Kenwood codes listed in the receiver catagory, which didn't work and Kenwood was not listed in the HTB catagory.
Does anyone know what kind of universal remote I should try? I don't really want to spend more than $40 but I need it to control the video 1, 2, CD etc channels and the bass boost button would be nice too. I can't even use that without a remote.
