Hey.
It has fallen on me to build the sound system for my GF's new hair salon. I need to fill ~1000 sq.ft. with rich, ambient music that won't interfere with conversations.
I jumped on a great deal on four Athena AS-R1.2's for $60ea (see pic), which set me back $300CDN after the 9yr service plan and taxes.
Here's the hard part: I've got ~$700 (flexible) left for wire, and to choose a 2-zone / 2-source receiver to handle the music in the salon and spa room separately.
Any suggestions? I read the Yamaha RX-V659 review, but haven't seen one locally yet.
