Hello All

I dont know much about speakers and subwoofers. I resently got a Pioneer VSX-1015TX with Klipsch Quintet speakers now all i need is a subwoofer.
This is what i was looking at
Sony SA-WX700
JBL E250P
what i want to know is which one will sound better and give me good bass. I only have $250 to spend. If u recommend something else around $200-$250 i would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance

Cadence X-Sub 249.00 free shipping.
JBL E250P 240.00 includes shipping.
What do you like more HT or Music?

Also a small stretch is the H100 Acoustech at about 279.00 shipped.

EDIT::: I will be selling my E250p in about a week.
Probably not a great price, but not bad. And it is only about 4-5 months old.
Its in perfect shape. And IMO hits low, and clear (Not Boomy).
(Please know, stay away from the E150, it does suck)

4 the E250p shipping to U.S. I would sell it for 180.00 and 25.00 shipping.
Also original box, manual, etc...

In that range I would go with the Cadence xsub it will blow your other options away, and can be had for as little as $250 if you shop smart.

Brian weren't you going to do a budget sub shootout, H-100, E250 and XSub? How's that coming?

I've listened to the JBL and have the XSub. I picked the Cadence because of the in store boominess I heard with the JBL, but that probably means that it was setup poorly. I've heard that it can be tamed and FWIW the XSub can be boomy if not setup correctly. So I'm no help at all :D

Actually had a lot of problems dealing with the company on the H100. But I think the issue is solved and the H100 is finally on its way, and should be here on Friday 9/16/05. I may just skip the X-Sub, and go with the SP120II with claims of down to 22hz. I read other serious reviews of it and it seems to be the one that will beat all the subs mentioned. Actually, I have even seen Tom from SVS kinda give it the thumbs up as one to buy. (Saw it in one of his posts  )

So after I get the H100, I should have something written up on the direct comparison of the 2, within a week. Sorry for the delay...
