Hi all,
I really need recommendation for a good power 7.1 receiver (around $1.5k) that can run the main 927be. Among several model I know such as yamaha 2500, 2600; denon 3805,3806; hk7300,635; arcam 300 ... which one would be the best choice for stereo & HT sounds. Thanks

I would say either go for the 2600 or 3806. They have the newest features (HDMI, etc) and should both be capable of driving your speakers. If you can, try to audition them and see which you like better (remote, interface, etc).

Have you looked at the Pioneer Elite? Specifically the 59txi, especially at this level of main speaker investment & quality ( I envy you having those be's. The french are good at somethings!).
With the 59txi you could bi-amp your JMLabs with approx. 250 watts per speaker if you plan to only go with a 5.1 setup. Denon lets you do the same with some of their better receivers. I would think the nearly limitless power avail. to those esoteric speakers could only serve to really let them rip. Remember, bi-amping is MUCH different than bi-wiring. Having invividual amplifiers powering the bass (1) and the mid-range/ treble (2) per speaker can often be beneficial, and could not hurt. Bi-wiring just uses 1 amplifier channel per speaker but uses 2 runs of wire. Totally useless!
