I'm clueless on what to look for and there isn't any stickys for it so I had a few questions about them.

Are they worth it?
I went to best buy and they had some monster things but they were like 270 for the bigger one and he said I would need the 129.99 one. It was a monster like power strip thing.
I don't think I would need one that has the back up battery.
Which one would you recommend? I just want a power cleaner and a surfer protector...

I will have either a denim 1712 or a pioneer 1021K a htpc tv ps3 a emotive subwoofer. And little things.

I was thinking one for audio and one for everything else. Don't have a lot of money like 150 per unit or so...

Thank you guys

I bought one of these from AH a few years ago and it has worked great, and done what it is supposed to do,

and I think it has helped my DLP bulb last longer because of the power conditioning.

this is a great unit IMO,just spend a few more dollars, you won't regret it.
this unit has enough for an entire home theater, incl, all video & audio,
I actually got a silver one and painted it black.

APC AV H15BLK 1.5kVA H Type Power Conditioner at Audioholics Store

OK cool I think i will order one of them. I was looking for something in the 100 range for each thing but if i can put everything on one of those units that will be good.

Thank you!

Is there anyother units i should look at though?

I've used a Belkin PureAV PF30D for over four years and am happy with it. I can't say that I notice any power conditioning effects, but it did eliminate a ground loop hum that I had (almost surely because it has a common ground for everything connected to it). I use it as a power strip, with hopes that it will actually prevent damage during a surge - but I won't know unless it happens. :)

I could say the exact same thing as Adam about my PF60. Pricey (at the time) but comforting.

Likewise I've got a Monster Power 7000 which I paid the right price for and it helped to eliminate a ground loop issue I had when I ran my cable through it along with my power for my stuff. It's served me well for the past 7 years.

I ended up going with this unit
APC AV Black 1.5kVA H15

I am pretty happy with it. It came with a broken foot thing I am going to fix that today when I get home. With my receiver on TV on and computer running I pull like 14-16%. So I think I have plenty of room to grow.

Thank you guys. I feel safe now with everything knowing its being cleaned and its protected.

Might be a little late, but the H type doesn't offer battery backup whereas the S series from APC does.

This may make a difference if you have a HTPC and want time for safe shutdown during power outages, or if you don't want to miss a recording due to a power outage.

Also, if you have a projector you may need the battery backup during a power outage so that the fan in the projector will continue to run and cool off the bulb as you shut down the projector.
