Need a bit of help from the experts

I have recently setup my first home theatre and, needless to say, i love it. My gear consists of a RX V550 amp and a set of JBL E series speakers.

The whole setup is working flawlessly except for one thing. Whenever i turn on my amp (say to watch TV or a DVD), there's this very short squeaking noise coming from the right speaker (it lasts for less than a second). After that everything returns normal. I have noticed that it only happens when my amp is in DSP processing mode. Say if i start it in pure Stereo there will be no squeak but once i turn the settings knob to anything that has DSP, I will hear the short squeak.

I'm very new to this HT field, so i would really appreciate it if some of you veterans can shed some light on my problem. Any advice is welcome. Thanks guys!

That is wierd! I'd say there is a big problem in the DAC interface with the analog preamp section. I'd take it back and get it repaired/replaced under warranty if possible. Stuff like this won't go away, and will eventually quit altogether.
