Need a 10" or 12" Sub to fit into cabinet (when not in use)

I need to replace my Paradigm PDR-10 sub - it is broken and non-functional (10 year old system: Yamaha rxv800, Paradigm Mini Monitor fronts and Paradigm cinema v1 rears). Never felt that I was getting reasonable bass effects from the PDR, so now I'm looking for a replacement. However, before I go further, let me say that although I can be particular, I'm not an audiophile, nor do I need to shake the cabinets of my entertainment center (I won't be looking to blast it), nor anything else. All I want are reasonable bass effects that will enhance the listening experience (movies, TV, CDs). I'm willing to spend upwards to $250 and obviously I'm not looking for anything that is super good as I'll settle for "reasonable" performance. For the sub I have a few main requirements:

1. There is a size constraint so that the sub will fit into a cabinet (when not in use). The sub should not be wider than 13.5", nor longer than 16.5"
2. Because of size constraints, I would think that a 10" sub would do, but if there was a 12" sub that would fit, I'd take a look at it
3. I would like the sub to have automatic sensing for on/off, volume, LFE in, and crossover controls

BTW, I've looked at wireless speakers in my price range and am fearful getting one as I've seen too many complaints about interference from other wireless components that would be near the transmitter. This would be my situation and I just don't want to hassle about whether or not the sound will be compromised.

I think the Outlaw M8 fits your size requirements, but it's a little over budget if you don't go bstock. It's 249 + shipping, 225 + shipping bstock.

Read the reviews and it certainly looks like a good budget sub, and it will fit into my cabinet. However, I do wonder if it will produce enough bass effects in my room (tiled floor, 15' x 30' with one side closed -sliding glass doors) and the other side open, but main listening area (TV) is 15 x 15). I don't need things to shake, but I'm wondering if I'll hear and hopefully feel some effects from an 8" sub. What do you think?

four of them might  You are trying to bend laws of physics and do it on zero budget ... May I recommend saving some money up and get in-walls subwoofers if you can't stand the sight of subwoofer box

Haven't looked at an in the wall, but I do assume that they are expensive and I would still have a wiring problem if they aren't wireless. What do you think about the interference problem that is often reported with wireless subs?
