A split second exposure to this level of light to eyes makes one impermanently blind... I can see lawsuits rolling if decide ever to use.

oh well, at least it's one step closer to the "real" USS enterprise

p.s. nothing a good sniper couldn't do though for far less cheap.

We have other stuff far more potent than either. Warfare is moving more towards automation though.
