I just acquired a Nad t765 to replace me Denon.
Now i know NAD T765 is not any little wimpy amp . It does produce 7x80W NAD power. and i also have a EMO Upa-5 .
questions is since i will be using only 5 speakers will i get little more power then 80W since the other 2 are not in use ?
i did try hook up EMO and use NAd as pre pro and i did hear a diffidence in sound quality . Nad the sound is warm and layed back , with EMO it much more bright and the heights are more distinctive. I would like to sell the EMO but them at the same time im not sure if it the right choice.
Speakers i have is Vienna acoustics Grands ( Haydn Thedoro Waltz ) and i don't really play my music loud just like the clean sound in moderated levels without constantly turning the volume up and down to hear what ppl at saying in movies.
