NAD T743 AMP - Sound mode Select Problem

Hi

So my problem is, my center speaker is not working, side ones and bass are but not the middle one.

I was told that the sound mode needs to be on dolby pro logic, as at the moment it is on stereo, thing is i have no idea how to change the sound mode.

I have a NAD T743 amp

Any help with how to fix this would be great, just cant find a way to do it.

Have you setup your speakers in the menu ?

In other words, does the receiver know you have a center speaker ?

What source are you using ?

Can you confirm all 3 jumpers are present on the rear panel ? They are on the left, connecting the front and center pre-out with the main ins.

ok im going to sound a bit stupid, but i gues its why im writing in here..... i dont know how to get into the setup to change that stuff, like if i need to have it on a certain AV, or just normal tv, because iv pressed menu on the remote 1000 times and it hasnt come up.

and the guy that originaly came to do it has made it so it has to always be set on dvd and i can change to tv or dvd on the tv or whatever and the sound will come out as expected, just the center one wont work, and im guesing the cabling at the back is corect as he is an audio person himself, well thats what he does, think he just missed something with making sure that center speaker works.

Sooo yer, im just abit clueless....

You get to the speaker and basic AV setup menu by pressing the ENTER button on the remote (in the middle of the 4 directional arrows). Make sure it's set to control the receiver.

I'm guessing you didn't get the manuals ?

Assuming you have the HTR-2 remote that came with my T-743, this is it's user manual:
