NAD 216 thx amp popping sound

I'm getting a popping sound in the left channel of my NAD 216 thx amplifier.

I've isolated everything:
Switched speaker cables, no effect
Switched input R/L: no effect
Hooked up rig to a Harman Kardan receiver, and no popping, so it's not the speaker.

The only thing I haven't done is the deoxit thing, which is what I'll do tonight.

So...any ideas?

The amp needs taking out of service immediately before it does serious damage to your speakers.
This amp is known for these types of problems due to failing capacitors.

The amp needs service or replacement.

NAD equipment has a reputation for higher than average failure, earning the Not Always Dependable acronym.
