Today Spotify announced 12 new apps from record labels and distributors that include Universal, Sony, Warner, EMI, Def Jam, Domino, Matador, [PIAS] and X5. The apps do a lot, from letting you check out complete album booklets directly in Spotify to personalizing playlists based on your Facebook likes. You can also explore more of the history of legendary artists and listen to the most popular Spotify songs that are hash-tagged on Twitter? It's a pretty cool line-up that extends an already-amazing app even further. Spotify is fast turning into a truly integrated, community-driven application - what we would have expected to have come out of MySpace just a few years ago.
