The NAD VISO 1 has a lot of technology that lovers of NAD will absolutely care about. The high end DACs and proprietary amplifiers are sure to impress even neophytes. But where the VISO 1 falls flat is in overall connectivity and functionality. Sure, top-of-line Bluetooth and a direct digital connection to your iDevice is impressive, as is a component video output, but, with only a single additional connection, we're left wanting. For the $700 price tag, we would like to see, at the very least, some sort of wireless connectivity to the Internet for streaming content from connected computers or online services. We're hoping that the other entries into the VISO line from NAD feature a few more...well...features.

firebook23... I don't know if Tom has a "bee in his bonnet" or not I just think he is clueless, his review of the M2 clearly illustrates that. Tom didn't even read the press release he said it was a "really sort of a hybrid. It is a traditional amp with non-traditional inputs" and if you read up on it, it is nothing of the sort. and this "review" is a lame attempt at humour for someone with nothing (of any value) to say... or at least that's how it looks from here.

That's because it's a preview and not a review.

Over the last 11+ years Audioholics has done nothing but provide very positive product reviews for NAD/PSB.

Tom has a humorous flare that our readers appreciate. The preview article in question was IMO a pretty humorous yet informative article based on very little information known about this new product.

What I find interesting is "firebook23" and "audioguy416" share the same IP address and are both located in Canada- where the corporate offices of NAD/PSB are located. What I find disturbing is both posters virtually duplicated the negative remarks we received unsolicited from NAD/PSB' Marketing Manager and their PR firm shortly after we posted this article. "Firebook23" has only a handful of posts, all disagreeing with any coverage we have provided for NAD/PSB and of course "Audioguy416" has only 1 post to his account.

It's possible we are witnessing a strange series of coincidences but in my experience these sort of situations usually prove otherwise. Hmmm.
