SunFire is offering consumers and dealers the opportunity to upgrade themselves or their clients an extra size with their new "Live Large with Sunfire" promotion. The deal is running from June 1 through August 31, where prospective SunFire subwoofer owners can upgrade by purchasing, for example, a Sunfire SDS10 10†sub for the price of an SDS8 8†sub, or a Sunfire SDS12 12†sub for the price of an SDS10. Not bad! To take advantage of the "Live Large" promotion, consumers can visit their local SunFire dealer or check out the company's website at www.sunfire.com. If you're feeling spendy, the deal is actually good for up to two Sunfire SDS subwoofers. Sunfire's Dynamic Series subs have an MSRP of $400, $500 and $600 for the 8", 10" and 12" models respectively. These subs include Sunfire's new digital amp and have 400 watts (SDS8), 500 watts (SDS10) and 600 watts (SDS12) of peak power.

The DS subs are actually the first Sunfire products built with Class-D amps and use the company's FFD technology... of course, since it's not explained fully, we'll have to assume that FFD stands for Front-Firing Driver... and that's not terribly unique or impressive..
... I think FFD stands for Feed Forward Design. looking forward to a review.
I'm curious how they compare to the HRS series
